We're Hiring: Productions Operations Manager
Lead and support our production teams across multiple L'épi Bakery sites as our Production Operations Manager. We're a proudly local bakery group specialising in artisan bread, pastries, cakes, and pies, and our production teams are the heart of everything we do – creating the products that define who we are. You'll oversee bakery production across all categories, manage teams, standardise recipes and processes, and ensure smooth operations whilst maintaining consistent, innovative products of the highest quality.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with strong experience in bakery production management across bread, pastry, cakes, and pies. You'll need proven leadership skills in managing and motivating back-of-house teams, along with expertise in recipe management, scaling, and maintaining consistency. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of bakery operations and food safety standards, strong organisational and problem-solving skills for multi-site operations, and a genuine passion for high-quality bakery products.
Production Leadership
Strong bakery production management experience with proven ability to lead day-to-day operations across multiple production sites and oversee diverse teams for bread, pastry, cakes, and pies.
Quality Management
Expertise in recipe management, scaling, and maintaining consistency whilst standardising production methods and ensuring compliance with food safety requirements across all locations.
Team Development
Skills in staff training and development with the ability to create growth pathways, coordinate with front-of-house teams, and analyse performance to implement efficiency and quality improvements.
